This course aims to provide the necessary information and knowledge to the students about the environmental aspects and impacts of the hospitality and tourism sector. Through this course students will understand the environmental issues which concern the hospitality and tourism industry and will acquire the necessary knowledge to enable them to adopt best environmental practices during the exercise of their profession. Students will understand issues related to the concept of sustainable development and the sustainable functioning of the hospitality and tourism industry will be established.
